1/ Error when generating a data export

If you're getting the following error when generating your export: "Question '%s and '%s are different. They cannot be made into loop items!", make sure that the Target file is a fully qualified path as highlighted in the screenshots below.

2/ Accented and special characters not interpreted in SPSS SAV format

Because of a compatibility issue with SPSS's library, Unicode and accented characters are supported only by the 64-bit version of AskiaTools from version 5.5.3.14.

The 64-bit version of Tools.exe is by default located in C:\Program Files\Askia\AskiaSuite

3/ Error when opening a QES file with Tools.exe 64-bit

This error indicates that Microsoft Access 64-bit drivers  are missing on your machine.

You'll need to install Microsoft Access Runtime 64-bit - available here.

4/ Random data generation progression stuck

Random generation can be blocked by "Go back to" routings. This is because AskiaTools writes data in a linear way and cannot go back to a question and modify answers.

Those routings can be ignored while generating random data:

- Create two scenarios in AskiaDesign (from the menu Edit > Scenarios) : Test & Live

- Allocate the scenario "Live" to your "go back to" routings.

- When generating the random data, select the "Test" scenario.
